theory of color

Matter of fact.

I have a whole bottle of wine that needs to be finished. NOW.

I really feel like playing video games, but they require so much effort. Reading is much more satisfying anyway.

I love my new job. Guys, I really really love it.

Candles smell so damn good.

I have a goodreads account. Last.fm for books? Helll yeah. Everyone should get one.

My main purpose of college was to get some sort of education to make my parents happy so if dance didn’t work out I had something to fall back on. But now I love what I’m studying just as much as I love dance. How is that possible? I’m not sure how I feel about it.

I literally cannot fall asleep til 6 a.m. So, I’ve been reading and watching a lot of really interesting films on Netflix. I just finished one called ‘The Cruise’ about a man who gives tours in NYC circa 1970ish? The man in that film is so interesting. He is basically a combination of Truman Capote and a more poetic and intelligent Lady Gaga. I found myself completely in love with him. Every word and sentence he spoke was, gah, I can’t even explain. He is just very smart and cultured. He has a way of seeing simple things like architecture and style in a backwards and inverted way, like, he notices the soul of things before their exterior. He literally orgasms at the sight of anything beautiful and it’s awesome! Basically, please watch the movie. I gave it 5 stars.

On that note, let me list some really great films that I’ve recently watched:

-The Cruise (yeah)

-Being John Malcovich (so weird, but so awesome)

-Me You and Everyone We Know (cute indie film that isn’t just a cute indie film)

-The Machinst (Christian Bale as an anorexic weirdo, super cool)

-The Illusionist (Triplets de Belleville-esque. Really depressing but worth while)

-Gogol Bordello: Non-Stop (self-explanatory)

-Harold and Maude (just watch it. do it. seriously. do it.)

I have a really pretty front-yard.

Bob Dylan turns 70 on the 24th and I turn 21 the 27th. Yes, I have both birthdays saved on my calendar. I will celebrate our birthdays very hard. After all, those birthdays are quite the milestones, no? I just said birthdays three times. Riveting writing there, Amanda.

I want to make eggplant for dinner. Eggplant and wine? Yummm.

Endnote: Hi.
